Rebecca Yang, MD, MPH, is an emergency physician and Global Emergency Medicine Fellow in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brown University. She completed her emergency medicine residency at Baylor College of Medicine and holds an MPH in Global Health and Humanitarian Studies from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Her prior research and fieldwork have focused on humanitarian health and healthcare access for undocumented and stateless populations, with experience in the US, Belize, Kenya, Montenegro, the Dominican Republic, and India. Her current interests include humanitarian response, disaster preparedness, and capacity building in forced migration and conflict settings. She is particularly interested in developing resilient health systems that can adapt to disasters and migration-related crises.
